JamesChi: The red highlights in the CARFAX report shows that the car was involved in an accident. However, it looks that the vehicles was fixed and kept by the owner. Since its a side impact accident, i am not sure if the vehicle is equipped with a side airbag or not. You need to verify that and inspect it that it was properly replaced in case it had deployed. The most concern that you may need to worry about in a side impact is that if the impact is severe enough, it might cause the structure of the car to mis-align and result in something called "dogtrakking" which is the inability of the front sets of tires to be properly in tadem with the rear sets of tires. Driving issues can result cos you wont be able to get good alignment done and your tires will wear out prematurely. Also, before you start the car, just turn on the ignition and make sure that all of the dash lights comes on (especially the airbag and check engine light) Some people do disconnect them to cover other serious issues or shoddy body work. Otherwise, enjoy one of the finest SUV money can buy. Get your ride on!  |

The G500 is alredy here, too bad the philippine government has a really crappy policy on taxes, you would either have to smuggle(which is about 99% of imported 2nd hand cars) or pass through a very crappy taxation policy wherein they tax you about 200% for used cars! The G500 which i asked for the records sells here for 3.5M, thats about 75,000USD. |

estranged8: I can help you get a nice 2004/2005 G500 from Dealer's Auction in California and ship it to you for around $50,000-$60,000. (Depending on the mileage). One thing you will be sure of is that it will be thoroughly checked out and no funny games. I will ship to any neighboring country of your choice and you take it from there.You get to deal with the customs and clearing. I am pretty sure there will be people who can handle getting it in for you. Watch out this space tomorrow or so, i will be able to get few pics from the upcoming auction on Thursday.
