My dear, your soul mate has everything to do with spirituality. A bad spouse can destroy your spiritual and financial life. A good spouse can build your spiritual and financial life.

Let me illustrate my point from the old testament of the bible since Abramelic Religion like Islam, Christianity and Kabbalah can easily relate to it.

life is very funny and confusing when you try to attache meaning to event or things.

to know your destine girlfriend/boyfriend or soulmate if there is one here are the surest signs.

there are girls/boys that are destine to meet you on your way/path to spend time with you. maybe there is something or knowledge either one or the both of you need to learn or experience from each other to awakening your sense to your next or future partner. they are part of your destiny but not necessary your wife/husband to be or soulmate as you called it.
