Hitng.com.ng had earlier reported that popular Nigerian Actress Funke Akindele had been reportedly cast in the set to be released international film Avengers: Infinity War .



Following the reactions this piece of information garnered, we also conducted an investigation onto her role in the film and it was discovered that her supposed part in the film was nothing but a waka pass role.

Funke’s refusal to acknowledge her appearance in the film also raised red flags as to the authentication of her involvement in the movie.

Many pointed to her name being listed on IMDb.com as confirmation that she was to be in the film. But surprisingly, recent checks confirm that not only has her name been removed from the cast list, it has been replaced by another actress Genevieve Nnaji.



This just points to the fact that her name appearing on the list may just be the work of a skilled hacker. Perhaps Funke’s big international break will come soon.
