Very silly of him. While he was down there trying to deceive the ref, the Libyans were attacking. He obviously didn’t realise that at such a critical stage of the game, being one man down could’ve gifted the Libyans an opportunity to have equalised.

The guys in Nigeria defence did well especially the tall centre back but midfield and attack were poor. Passes were uncoordinated, poor crosses and awkward tackles.

I watched the match from kick off to the final whistle but I didn’t see the ‘many goal scoring opportunities’. Their attack was very poor, lack of creativity from the midfield and none of the forwards seem to possess that special and wao effect to come up with something magical to turn the game around.

Faleye did well to hit thst cross on his first touch to score. The only times he was noticed were the in the first half when he showed lots of clumsiness trying to control the ball, slipping and falling probably due to bad boots with wrong studs or just nerves getting the better of him. His confidence though improved after his goal, he had another goal scoring chance but the Libyan defender spoilt it for him.

Rabiu Ali should retire from the national team. He has failed to grow and improve his game. His shootings always go the rugby way. He shouldn’t be taking freekicks from 25 yards, his legs aren’t powerful enough. His shootings are embarrassing so are some of his mates.

I think our local league need urgent attention. Eze looks good but need a lot of polishing, he could easily get sent off from some of tackles.

That referee was man of the match.....
