This photo was shared by an aggrieved citizen that thinks it's not right. But sincerely a community hosting six oil wells needs these social amenities without even demanding for it. Share your views on this issue

Ask the community leaders/elders, they will rather receive cash gifts from the owners of the well and enrich themselves.

Nigeria is a failed state.

Restructure it...

give Local Governments and States competences over Education, Power, Road, Health and other basic amenities.

Reserve only military power and foreign policy to the federal government...

And see the huge turnaround!

Gbam! Most times the community "strong men" (youth leaders, chiefs etc) do not allow any meaningful development in their communities. They rather you give them the cash to share.

This is very bad. However the state government shouldn't neglect her citizens because you feel you deserve more from the government.

Osun state with a Low IGR boasts of good schools. Delta is a rich state, we should learn to also criticize state governors.

There's something wrong with us as a country. Our leaders would prefer to channel the money meant for the development of the society on trivial things.

There are allocations annually to furnish these schools. They just don't spend them on the kids. All the politicians, wealthy business men and professionals passed through that school but they all never do anything about it. I just don't know why.
