Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has support Chelsea's transfer strategy, regardless of an apparently erratic search for a striker supposedly doing little to control the Italian's dissatisfactions at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea has signed one player, Ross Barkley in a £15million deal from Everton, so far this month, while Roma duo of Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri have been linked to the Bridge.

The Blues missed a great opportunity for former striker Romelu Lukaku, and Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and Fernando Llorente, while permitting midfielder Nemanja Matic to join top-four adversaries Manchester United, in the summer transfer window.

Dzeko isn't the only striker to be linked to the Blues albeit detailed interest for Andy Carroll and Peter Crouch has raised eyebrows. In any case, Conte insists he is content with the club's dealings.
