There is a huge difference between Christians and Jews.
The Jewish people rejected christianity because the teachings of Jesus said
1. Love thy neighbours as you love thyself
2. Forgive and pray for thy enemies and when slapped on one cheek, turn the other cheek.
The jews believe this teachings to be unrealistic especially in situations where thy enemies goal is to dominate and eliminate thy generation of the face of the earth.
They believe that revenge should be served with more brutal force "the jews will kill ten for every one of theirs killed".
Which brings me to my questions
1. Is the teachings of Jesus still viable in this current society?
2. Have terrorists taken advantage of the teachings of Jesus, knowing that Christians have been discipled to love, forgive and embrace peace?

Actually , the terrorists are taking advantage of this. But what can we do ? The teachings of Jesus can't be ignored.

There are times I feel like going after the Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsmen to retaliate . They are easily killing the Christians with no resistance.

Can't we find a way to set up a kind of Christian soldiers or vigilante group with strong communication system that churches or christian group can call upon in time of danger to rescue the affected victims?

With the actions or inactions of governments, a time would likely come where we would experience such scenarios. This killing of innocent will surely come to an end.
