Joke Ajadi belongs to the new generation of actresses who are making waves in Nollywood. The svelte actress who hails from Kwara State bagged a B.sc degree in Mass Communications from University of Lagos. In this interview with TheNewsGuru, the talented actress opens up on her passion for acting, having on crush on Mike Ezuronye , among other issues.


Can you tell us about yourself?





I am Ajoke Ajadi. I was born and brought up in Lagos. I bagged a degree in Mass Communications from University of Lagos. I joined the movie industry in 2012 and I have featured in a couple of movies.





What was your first onscreen experience like?



My first on screen experience was at Bola Akindele’s Production. The location was at Ikorodu. I was asked to play the role of a dead person. It was difficult for me to close my eyes. I was just blinking. I was so happy to be seen on TV for the first time then. My parents were the first people to call me, telling me they saw me on TV. They told me to come to the sitting room, adding that a movie I featured in is being shown on TV. That was before I lost my dad. May his soul in rest in peace.



Can you act nude for 30 billion naira?

For 30 billion? Yes! That amount of money can solve a lot of problems for so many people. It can even transform my village and yours.
