In the latest ranking as released by the World Health Organization, WHO, countries where alcohol is being consumed the most has been ranked per litre of alcohol consumed per year. Since "Naija no dey carry last," we have been given a decent position in the top 10. While the WHO did not categorically state how this figure was reached; there has been a strong indication that it is linked to high per capita income. However, with a per capita income of just around $2500, Nigeria shouldn't be on the list in the first place, but Naija has a way of excelling no matter the odds.
