JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client DTLK and BMA Limited (D & B) a renowned Facility Management company in Lagos Nigeria, with service offerings covering Construction Services, Total Facility Management, Facility/Office Fit-up, Mechanical Engineering Services and Procurement of specialized goods.

D & B is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help them expand their clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Role Responsibility:
• Seeking new business opportunities, managing tender processes and win businesses.
• Achieve defined sales targets.
• Work with internal teams to develop solutions to satisfy prospective customer needs.
• Cultivate the relationship with direct customers and partners to ensure the business is grown and retained.
• Build a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop a good understanding of the customer needs, products and vertical market.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.

The Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, Facility Management experience is essential.
• Relevant industry experience in Guesthouse management, hotels and/or Technical Engineering Site.
• Proven sales track record.
• Great presentation skills.
• Self-driven.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage the relationship with key customers to deliver ongoing growth of connections.

Our client, a leading day spa in Lekki phase 1 seeks qualified candidates to fill the role of a business development and customer acquisition manager.

Responsibilities:[b][/b]

Responsible for outlining strategic and effective plans for expanding the business and Customer base. you will be at the forefront of the business
Develop strategy for the Business - essentially a business plan of how each Business unit can sell their beauty products and services into salons, department stores, homes etc
Conduct regular market analysis studies - gathering intelligence on competitor brands, consumer trends with the aim of ensuring the company maintains a strong competitive edge
Identify new opportunities and channels - extending the reach of a product/service to increase its commercial success. Business development strategy may highlight new geographic areas to sell the products/services into, new sectors, new business types, clients etc.
Create and submit business proposals - this is an integral part the job and will involve both writing formal business proposals and presenting in person
Negotiate and close business deals
Generate leads - a company needs leads to sell to if its going to grow its client base.
A program of ongoing leads generation is therefore essential
Account management - Maintaining a good ongoing client relationship
Product expertise - have good sound knowledge of the brand, the benefits it offers, ingredients and also be fully up to-date on any product/service improvements or new lines
Attend trade shows and industry events - attending beauty shows such as Fashion
Week etc to build network, generate new client leads and keep abreast of new products coming onto the market
Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople


Requirements:

Proven working experience as a business development manager
Proven sales record
Computer proficiency
Good communication skill
Experience in beauty,spa, and hospitality industry is an added advantage
Time management and planning skill
BSC/BA in business administration or relevant field

Compensation plan: N100,000 monthly plus commission on sales monthly and other benefits
