Myranda Ezinne
I know the sound
I can sing the song
The sound of the drum
The song it sang
Blowing peace into the heart of man
It’s melody is second to none
The working ants heard and danced
The millipedes are lost in the beat.
I know the sound
I can sing the song
The sound of the drum
The song it sang
Slowly sending the dead to rest
Rendering the living to shake and dance
The trees heard and dance in style
Infants heard and fly for joy
I know the sound
I can sing the song
The sound of the drum
The song it sang

Soibi Ransom

Music! Music! makes my heart go gaga
Makes me move left and right
I turn and swirl like a merry go round
I clamour like the wind with a buzz buzz
sound
I rumble like the rushing clouds because my
heart is lofty
Am excited by her beautiful tunes and
rhythm
It pacifies my tense nerve
My gallopy blood pressure
Even relaxes my hysteric brain
I am lost in my ecstasy
Trumping my feet zigzagging
Shaking my head from north to east
In the fantasy of fun
In the clemency of peace
In the sanctuary of melody
Music is like a spiced meal
That makes me crave for more
I love music
I want music
I cry when I hear good
