A couple in Lagos have drifted from the convention of serving guests rice and morsels at weddings by offering them soaked garri and fried fish to feed on.

Garri is a powder derived from the cassava plant. It is often used to prepare Eba, an African word for morsels taken with a variety of soup or simply taken as flakes.

An Instagram user @Ofadaboy posted the photo from a wedding reception in Lagos, revealing the unconventional food arrangement and how it has so far gathered positive responses.
