I am a big fan of Oruma since when he burst into limelight in 1993. Then I was in secondary school but would always buy any sports paper that had Oruma's name on it. Some of us in the part of Nigeria I come from even called him 'Oroma' which made him look our kinsman.
To cut the long narration short there came a time that newspapers headlines started beaming with Oruma having running battles with his family especially the father. Newspaper carried curses his father laid on him. From that point Oruma started having problems in his football career. He started suffering and recovering from one injury to the other.Even to a point that he no longer had a club despite being a high quality player. Oruma gradually slipped out of football reckoning and went into oblivion. Things went bad for him after that incident with the father which I can't tell what led to that.
Agreed friends,mates, NFF and others are trying to assist, if the root cause is not identified if need be to appease the curse his dad laid on him every effort may yield to nulity.
Those who read papers and recall may remember his face off with dad. This is my contribution in helping out Oruma.
