It can be very challenging to set a goal and execute on it. But the way one can achieve ones goal is to 1. Have a CONCRETE goal in the first place 2. Set a time frame to achieving this goal 3. Make a plan on what you need to do. 4. Execute on the plan. Number 3 and 4 are usually challenging. As simple as it is for one to plan, it is very difficult for most of us. Why? Because we are afraid we might not meet our target. But remember, your aim is not to achieve 100% of the goal, your aim is to achieve 80% or more. Planning to achieve 100% might be scary and one other disadvantage is that if you achieve 100% of something you feel there is room for improvement but when you achieve 80% you think you can still do better, and that is priceless. Executing on the plan is very very important but it is very easy to be distracted along the way. What to do? Remind yourself of your goals whenever you see a sign of distraction or sense any fear or laziness. The question is why are you doing this in the first place?
