A police check point was reported to have caused an uproar yesterday morning when a man died as result of Police illegal habit of collecting bribe along Igun road, Benin city.

Reports has it that a police man pushed the deceased man into a moving trailer, thereby causing his death after trying to collect N100 from the deceased which he refused.

According to the Facebook user who shared the incident on Facebook, This act got the youths around area the angry leading to them into taking the law into there hands by burning up police vehicles and had the policeman killed in retaliation.

Reports also revealed that the deceased was supposed to have his marriage this weekend.
