Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant will possess superior interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills, conflict resolution experience, a collaborative management style and have demonstrated organizational and planning abilities in addition to:

An advanced degree, preferably in Educational Leadership, Supervision of Instruction, Curriculum Development or Administration
A minimum of 5 years successful private-school experience in school or district based administration
Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to working as a member of instructional leadership team
Demonstrated skills in community involvement and public relations, including the ability to work cooperatively with parent and community service agencies and programs
Demonstrated successful teaching experience
Demonstrated understanding of current educational trends including personalizing learning, effective instructional design and assessment practices
Demonstrated experience leading student achievement initiatives
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Demonstrated knowledge of educational uses of technology and administrative software systems.
