The E39 is one of my favourites.


It's cheap to maintain and very durable.


However, I prefer fabric seats to leather.


Just out of curiosity, what happened to the bonnet that requires it's replacement? The steering wheel looks like the airbags has been deployed.....

Cheap to maintain no doubt.
I won't hesitate to buy another for the garage in the future.
The airbag hasn't been deployed, It's probably the picture contrast and lightning.

The bonnet is quite fine, one of the shocks/supports is weak. Same for the trunk.

Leather, I will take over fabric any day.
Apart from the heat after parking in unshaded areas for long, I am afraid fabric has no other advantage. wink tongue



You have mentioned one advantage fabric has over leather.


Lemme add one more,


It is also cheaper to maintain fabric/cloth than leather.
