entle,
Hanging up there in trouble,
But smiles and walks with citizens at night,
Shy to come at broad day,
Shy to know a sunny day,
How loving, how tender a calm knight,
Blessed to know it supplies light.

The moon is so gentle,
Stable but assumed to move,
Can you but come under my roof?
To sing to me a lullaby?
Can I play with you oh moon?
I'm expecting you so soon,
To sing to me a lullaby.
