Hello Nairalanders. Can one acquire M.Sc in applied or pure mathematics straight after getting B.Ed in mathematics? I really wanna be a high school teacher and then a lecturer. Abeg your responses are valued.

Yes, is possible, in my department , I have friends that have B.Ed in chemistry but they were admitted to study M.SC Chemistry but are required to to some remedial courses.
Some schools will want you to do post graduate diploma before doing your Masters in science, while some will admit you with your B.Ed if your GP is high (2:1) and you will do some few undergraduate courses called remedial which you are required to pass but can't be use for your M.SC grading.
