Today being 16th of Febuary 2018, the students of Benue State university decided to stage a peaceful protest.
this is coming as a result of other students' being denied access into the examination hall. myglobalgist.com.ng in an interview with some students explained their bitter feeling that, most of victims are final year students who could have a spill over if not allowed to take part in the examination. he explained further that over the years, students were allowed access to take their examination on a condition that they can't be cleared of on graduation.
Similarly in an interview with another anonymous member of the protest group told Myglobalgist that, due to the financial challenges in the state most of the parents are unable to raise the school fees of their wards. he added that most of the students even try to pay for themselves.

The students also insisted that the state government should pay salaries and save souls!
The students however, refused to let people go out or come inside the school premises... insisting that they see the VC of the university to give them a positive reply.
