The even has kicked off in grand style, beginning with a red carpet/ cocktail reception. It is well graced by dignitaries in sport, politics and entertainment.

Dare Arts Alade dilevered a well-toned performance and comedian Bovi is eclectic as MC. Tiwa savage was hot and Reekado was cool. Other artists include Simi, Falz, Kiss Daniel, and Patoranking.

Moses won the Best player male and Asisat Oshoala, female.
