The bottom line. The program on FoxPro 2.6 under DOS. In Windows 98 works without problems. In Windows XP, when you open *.dbf file displays the message "Not a database file".

Additionally:
1. multiplayer mode,
2. the message is issued for files of large size,
3. appears not always, the pattern is not established (sometimes works fine).

All settings are set.
Suspicion of a header, the number of actual records does not match the header.

Can someone faced with similar? How to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance to everyone.
