180-year-old structure of St Ann’s Bay Methodist Church in St Ann has been destroyed by fire.
According to reports, this occurred around 1:30 as it extends to other buildings within the vicinity.
Its said that all efforts by the two units from the St Ann’s Bay Fire Brigade who attempted to fight the blaze was in vain as they were not able to save the historic building.
From the source it is disclosed that members of the Church gathered in shock as they viewed the ruins of the church building.
However, the unhappy part is the lost of a 107 -year-old pipe organ which was the source of music for the church over the many years it was built.
