Xiamen University is offering fully funded
scholarships to prospective international students who wish to study either undergraduate, master or PhD program. The scholarship will be awarded to 24 applicants (including 8 for doctoral candidates, 11 for master’s candidates and 5 for undergraduate candidates). Applicants can choose to study in Chinese or English language in any programme offered at the university. Xiamen University (XMU) located in Xiamen, Fujian province, is the first university in China founded by overseas Chinese. Established by Tan Kah Kee in 1921, the university was originally known as Amoy University. The
university is one of many comprehensive universities directly administered by the Chinese Ministry of Education. According to University Undergraduates Teaching Assessment and Chinese Universities Evaluation Standings, the university is ranked 11th in China and has maintained a top-20 ranking in China. In addition, the School of Management is accredited by EQUIS and the Association of MBAs.The University has been ranked top 10 in China and top 100 in worldwide institutions by Nature Index.

Eligibility
• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

Educational background and age limits:
﹡Applicants for bachelor’s degree studies must
have a high school diploma and be under the age
of 25.
﹡Applicants for master's degree studies must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 40.
﹡Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have a master's degree and be under the age of 45.
