A popular religious saying goes “the love of money is the root of all evil” that is what social media fans have used to describe the situation of Church fraud and alleged act of greed against this Nigerian man.

News of a man who mistakenly transferred N111,000 instead of N11,000 to his church account is making the rounds on the internet.

The man whose name is Kenneth said the money was meant for a project he was undertaking presently, and the church has refused to refund the balance of the excess payment.

The excuse given by the church according to the Kenneth is that “the money has been given to God”.

The man put a phone call to controversial on-air-personality Daddy Freeze and narrated the issue to him to which he put up on his social media pages.

The church is called “Glory Arena” as said by the caller and the news has gathered several comments and reactions both on Instagram and Twitter.
