Super Falcons Denied Visas For Turkish Tournament by Hotsports: 6:07pm On Feb 26, 2018 |
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has attributed the failure of Nigeria’s female national team; Super Falcons, to participate in the Alanya invitational tournament, to inability to secure visa for the team. The football house had earlier confirmed the team’s participation in the invitational, but had to pull out at the last minute following a visa hitch. A source from the NFF lamented, “It is a very sad situation for us. We wanted to make the tournament but there were so many factors that conspired against our wishes to participate”. “We made efforts to arrange entry visas to Turkey for the players, those abroad and others in Abidjan but were faced with a lot of challenges and it could not work out.” However, the Falcons will now shift focus on preparations for the Le Mans Friendly in France billed for April 4. http://hotsportstv.com/visa-stops-super-falcons-turkish-alanya-invitation/
