Are Bloggers Really Financially Free? (an Insight Into The Claim Unto Bloggers) by explosivesedo: 9:59am On Feb 27, 2018
Note: I wasn’t meaning to be rude here but this is true “several Nigerian and foreign websites do not earn upto $1 per day from Adsense or any other monetization means used and yet several people do say in a general term that bloggers are financially free”.

This is why we are writing this article to explain which bloggers are really financially free as most people claimed.

With the ever increasing financial difficulty in Nigeria, the masses have started making life unbearable for their fellow masses in their every personal endeavor.

An Instance:

“This is the situation whereby a garri seller makes her fruit price twice the original price as a result of the high transportation fare used to get them and as well the family (car mechanic) who bought them will increase the price of his services so as to afford the food”.

“So now I ask in this circle of difficulties, who is really financially free? The bloggers?”

At first, someone once said that blogging is a lazy mans business and this is somewhat true as I have analyzed the whole protocol and found it to be true but a little bit misconcepted.

Let us assume that bloggers are financially free in a sense as they earn without any much stress or hardwork towards earning (For those who have established themselves in their niche).

Notwithstanding the fact that it is said to be true that blogging is easy, I must ascribe this to bloggers who write with generated contents and also copying other websites articles but to the real bloggers who spend a lot of time to write their website contents themselves, it is not seen as a simple task to blog in their shoes.

Basically it is seen as entertainment bloggers are the real easy life bloggers as they do not do a lot of work to get contents for their websites, they just endorse a little modifications on already written articles by fellow bloggers in the same niche as they publish almost the same thing.

Let’s narrow down the question on are bloggers really financially free.

Bloggers are financially free and this credit should only go to websites which have developed themselves in their niche as an authority domain eg naij.com, lailasblog.com, 3ptechies.com, lindaikejisblog.com, punch.ng, dailyinfo.ng and of course blogincomes.com.ng to mention but a few.

These authority domains are considered to be financially free as they earn at least $20 daily.

Let’s take an anAlysis here, if your website makes $10 daily, you will be making $600 monthly which is approximately two hundred and sixteen thousand naira monthly. This is a little to say you’re at some point financially free.

Let us now examine some other websites which are not authority domains in their niche, this is where the contradiction to this question strives to come in.

Since we have explained that bloggers are free financially judging with the authority domains levelled above, let’s now talk about the non authority domains and have them vastly compared.

Authority domains

. Websites that fall into this category do earn a good income without investing much on adverts

. They do always have a static daily, weekly and monthly income

. They have several other links and affiliates that fetch them a handsome revenue other than Adsense

. Adsense is never their main source of revenue but mostly direct advertising and affiliate

. These websites have a substantial number of daily visitors

Non-authority domains

. Websites that fall into this category spend much on advertising but still do not make enough

. They do also have a diversified daily, weekly and monthly income

. They based their earnings on one source which is either google Adsense of affiliate marketing

. These websites do not have a specified number of web visitors daily but still diversified

. These websites do not pay its owners a good and handsome revenue

From these points above, it is considered we have only two kinds of websites and also we have two kinds of bloggers; the financially fee bloggers and the non-financially free ones.

“I suppose you can now deduce what blogger is financially free and what blogger is not”

Wrap up

This little illustration could really suggest that really bloggers are financially free but it still all boils down to the kind of blogger you are and what level of domain your website fall into.
