Why do evil and mediocres reign in Africa? Because good men are not honored. Period. Nobody remember them or their work after they are dead. In Africa, it seems the worse you are the more you are remembered. The good ones are left to rot. That is why I have created a Scholarship Award for Computer Science to honour the late governor of Bendel State, Professor Ambrose Folorunsho Alli (22 September 1929 – 22 September 1989). This man affected the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in positive ways. Most of them are over 50 year old today and have since forgotten what he did. The scholarship will be awarded to deserving students to study computer science in any University in Africa. It will start in the 2018 academic year.
