When it comes to vaginal secretions prefer this term to discharge.
Today I saw a married woman who was concerned there was something wrong with her. Her concern was that she felt she was secreting too much. So was there medication for this?
This made me realise there are some misconceptions regarding what is in essence a very natural and necessary process. The concern for women should not be too much or too little or preoccupied with trying to “dry” your vagina out by using rock salt or wearing tampoons that are too large.

A woman should be concerned with the colour and the physical state of your whole nether regions. What you eat will sometimes affect your natural aroma, medication like antibiotics for example
Here is brief synopsis of common concerns:

Thick white/ opaque/ clear/various shades of white no itching very faint aroma ( I said aroma not odour ) There is nothing wrong with you.

Yellow- Neon Green - there is usually a pronounced odor - bacteria infeciton/ STD
There could be visible lessions or not but this needs to be checked out professionally. Using expensive perfumes is not going to solve the issue.

Blush/Pink/Blood Stain/Red
Sign that your cycle is about to begin. For some women with uterine polyps this can happen after sex.
For others very boisterous sex can also leave a pink tinge in your vaginal secretions.

Brown/ Rust colour - for some women this can be a before your menstrual cycle when the secretions are blood tinged. If you use emergency contraception this can happen as well instead of actually having a proper period. If the it’s over a prolonged period time it could be a sign of cervical/uterine cancer

Green- Dark Green There is nothing normal about this. STD/bacterial infection

Grey: This sign of bacterial vaginosis (BV), which is a very common infection in women and it’s treatable

Yeast infection/Thrush will affect the consistency and the colour of your vaginal secretions. There will be itching and frequent urges to urinate. Contrary to some points of view Thrush is not an STD. If you have it and you are in a relationship/situation both parties need to be treated.

Be concerned when there is pain, itchiness and an odour that won’t go away despite good personal hygiene. Seek medical attention.

This your question reminds me of a lady I met the beach last Dec, my middle finger smell for 3 days despite using hypo to watch my clothes the next morning (because of the smell) I still perceive some smell on the middle finger.

The smell of a stinky vagina takes alots of process to get rid from the finger, am talking about a real stinky one such as that lady am talking about.

Kindly stop sticking your fingers in women. There is more to intimacy than that. Or maybe you are not aware?

The smell of poop is easier to wash off your fingers than the smell of a cheesy, gutter-smelling toto.
