Have you ever wondered why you start a year with a very high target and high expectations on how you would improve your finances and you end up remaining exactly where you were by the end of that year.

This is not because you did not work hard, but there is a limit to what you can achieve with working hard, and the next question on your mind will be, what exactly must one do to break-out from poverty? And the answer to that question is simply ‘SMART WORK’.

SMART WORK involves the ability to first identifying UNIQUE OPPORTINITIES and most importantly ensuring that we grab them with both hands. A wise man once said that the full meaning of POOR is,

Passes

Over

Opportunities

Repeatedly

The biggest difference between the rich and the poor lies in formers ability in identifying unique opportunities and being bold enough to take risk. A wise man once said “Everything you desire lies outside your comfort”

Recently it was reported by a popular news site in America named TMZ, that a popular rapper named Curtis Jackson AKA 50 Cent made over 7 million dollars from selling some copies of his album in exchange for 700 bitcoins which was in june 2014 worth $460,000, and in less than 4 years that became over $7000,000. This is simply a case of being a risk taker as bitcoin at that time was not accepted as a means of payment in many parts of the world.

Right here in Nigeria it was also reported Many people had invested and made millions of naira within a few weeks from an online gold company named Swiss Golden, with a News Blog named Amebo Arena, stating that over 20,ooo people had been made multi millionaires through the business. A business reported by many to be quite straight and properly structured which has given many investors the confidence that this is a business that has come to stay and not anything like a ponzi scheme that has broken the heart of many in Nigeria.

With all the above case studies, it is clear that you’re poor because, you don’t search for new opportunities and when you stumble upon one, you don’t take advantage of them.

The question today Is, which of the opportunities around you have you taken advantage of? Or are you one of those who want to keep hoping that your monthly salaries will be enough to stare you through these rough times of recession.
