1. TOO MUCH INFORMATION: Including too much information that is unrelated to the job is a waste of space and could be harming your chances of getting a job. A recruiter does not need to know your height, weight, religious or political affiliations etc. Learn to be direct and straight to the point both in your curriculum vitae and in your cover letter.

3. WEIRD EMAIL ADDRESS: Certain email addresses give an instant negative perception of a candidate and also make you look unserious.
