BRT bus early hours on Monday morning killed a young boy who was crossing the road to go to school at Ikorodu in front of the popular Government college Ikorodu.

The Page Magazine gathered that the boy is a primary school student of a Primary school located beside Government College Ikorodu, Idiroko, Ogolonto.

we also gathered that the boy was only able to be recognized by the name on his book, because the BRT bus crushed his head into pieces.

the boy’s death caused a lot of scarcity of commercial vehicles plying from Ikorodu to other parts of Lagos, thereby making people to trek distance in order to find vehicles.

While visiting the scene of the incident, The Page Magazine, recorded a lot of miss-orderliness in the path of the Youths who showed their angers by going to the BRT bus station to scatter and fight all their staffs.

during the process, it was also recorded that the police came to calm down the situations but were chased by the angry youths. later around 9:15AM, the military men came and started releasing bullets in the air to scare people away from causing more harm.

Very unfortunate. Parents really need to sensitive their children on the importance of using pedestrian bridges.
