World wide, the name Red Cross is well know for their hard work in Quick response to Emergencies, Fighting against sexual violence, Voluntary Humanitarian Activities, Restoring Family link, First Aid service and also, it Neutral Stand.

In the Nigerian Red Cross Society, there Port Harcourt Division lies, and in the Port Harcourt Division lies four detachment.

and Award Night Event held by the University of Port Harcourt Detachment (Uniport Detachment).

For every diligent and voluntary hard worker, there is certainly a reward for appreciation. After weeks of hard work and team co-operation, a set up team started a big project of rewarding Patrons, Metrons, Excos and supporting members of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Uniport Detachment.
