First of all, i can't use a phone without fingerprint reader or face unlock in 2018.

I'm sure the Xiaomi is awesome but It's Camon CM for me.

Op go for the Redmi note 5a prime, kicks the butt of that CM. It's currently selling for 40k on Jumia 3/32gb.

downside of the 5A is no fingerprint security other than that its good to go especially for its price tag

You should be comparing Camon Cm with Redmi Note 5 Prime. They are the same price range but Redmi Note 5 Primer wins hands down.

Op is talking about redmi note 5a. Both variants have fingerprint sensor.

The redmi 5a, a totally different model, does not have any fingerprint sensor
