Following the release of the Bluetooth 5 and the android O (Oreo), android smartphones had the ability to connect to two bluetooth devices simultaneously. Google has decided to increase the number of Bluetooth devices that could be connected to android smartphones at once. The android P developer preview was released just yesterday. Amongst the features discovered by the developers already with the android P, is the ability to connect to up to five bluetooth devices simultaneously.
