Hunger! Hunger! Hunger!
Whence do you come from?
And why do you linger?
You are not welcomed
For you keep people miserable.

Whence do you come from?
You said: ask the masters
Who are these masters?
Myopic leaders; hypocritical vanguards
Oppressive merchants and siphoning agents

Hunger! Hunger! Hunger!
You are a storm in a nation
Causes havoc everywhere; makes people pale
I hate to see you in our midst
Take your leave and be expelled.

Why do you hate my stay?
You have to blame the oppressors
That makes the jobbers jobless:
School children drop out
And pensioners pounce on their patience.
Now hear what you tell them
To make our nation better
Cultivate on our lands; industrialize our youths
Take no more resources away
Then I will take my leave and disappear.
