*WHEN TIME COMES*


Time left us on the radar
He followed them up the ladder
Leaving us hanging on the swing of dejection
Palpitating our hearts with the mood of rejection
Our face embedded in a hint of furrow

He left for us a silent whisper
Pledging his comeback with a glimmer
With low hope and heavy heart we waited
Days without numbers already counted
Still no sign of him showing on the morrow

Those with no patience embarked on a journey
Hoping to evade the long road and thorny
They made shortcuts and cut corners
Hoping to be the first and forerunners
Without attempt of shooting the arrow

"Time wait for no man" they reported
"We will wait for our Time" we retorted
Unlike them we waited for Time
Clinging and hoping he would come on time
Yet, no sign of him showing on the morrow

All a sudden we saw him a thousand mile
Those who went astray couldn't see his radiant smile
He came knocking with a lot of treasure
Our eyes filling with tears of pleasure
Time has come to come away our sorrow
