20 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ENTER UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA :-


1. UNN like every other University is easy to get unlike some people really think.

2. You just need to score 200 and above in your UTME and score very high in your P.UTME to be admitted.

3. If you want to read medicine or law in UNN, target at least 250 in UTME and 320 in P.UTME, average 285. Good luck

4. If you miss your luck in the first batch, there is a room for supplementary. You may likely succeed, even to your dream department.

5. UNN has increased their quota for Nursing and Direct Entry students. Try your luck there.

6. A new department called 'International Relations' is emerging from Political Science UNN> Why not try your luck here?

7.UNN is also doing pre-science courses known as JUPEB. Check it out.

8. In case if you did not get up to 200 after P.UTME, don't bother trying further because they won't take you. You may only end up in the hand of fraudsters

9. In UNN, every course is important. Shop into another one in case you don't get your dream department.

10. It may be very difficult for unserious students to make it into UNN because P.UTME is very strict. Then if succeed and want to come in, have that in mind.

11. UNN is almost like survival of the fittest. Lecturers are very serious

12. You must read to pass. There may be no time for partying.

13. Exam is very serious issue in UNN, Even the lecturer that do not know how to teach knows how to set questions.

14. Food is very cheap in UNN. Everyone can survive.

15. Accommodation is equally cheap for both hostel and off K, unlike UNIPORT

16.Girls receive more preferential treatment than boys. They just gat to manage

17. There are good fellowships on campus. So, don't fear that you might spoil

18. There are no active cults in school. Everywhere is peaceful.

19. GP is like the most valued thing in school and student can almost die for it

20. Finally, Girls mostly graduate the overall bests and faculty cum departmental bests. Find out why....

Nsukka (UNN) Aggregate Score
for 2017/2018 Academic
Session Was Obtained;
The aggrgate score is JAMB Score 60%
while POST UTME Score 40%. Now lets
calculate your aggregate score;
1. Multiply your JAMB Score by 0.6, keep
the answer one place.
2. Also multiply your POST-UTME Score
by 0.4.
3. Now add up what you got.
E.g let’s say your jamb score is 220 and
your post utme score is 240. Then we will
have (220*0.6) + (240*0.4) = Aggregate
score = 228.
Since you’ve confirmed your post utme
score, then it’s obvious that your jamb
score is more valid than your post utme
score.
It’s this aggregate score that UNN will
use to consider you for admission. Besides, The
departmental cutoff mark for Enugu State
is not same with that of Delta State. He
scored high and you scored low might not
matter if your state departmental cutoff
mark is low.
Talking about the merit admission list, it
involves school cutoff, catchment area
cutoff, and state area cutoff.
Meanwhile the departmental cutoff mark
will be released few days after the
Screening Examination.
