Troops have arrested a wanted Boko Haram suspect, Bubayi Isa, in Kalaa village in Adamawa State, North-east Nigeria. .

A statement by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, on Wednesday revealed that the arrest was made following a tip-off. .

Brigadier General Chukwu said the suspected terrorist was apprehended by troops of 23 Brigade attached to Operation Lafiya Dole on Tuesday in Hong LGA of the state. .

According to him, investigation reveals that Bubayi is the 37th suspect on the list of Boko Haram terrorists suspect published by the Nigerian Army Headquarters. .

The Army spokesman said the suspect was arrested with three others – Muhammad Buba, Abdullahi Abubakar, and Yakubu Abdullahi. .

He added that the suspects have also confessed of belonging to a Boko Haram terrorist group as well as their various involvement in the activities of the sect, following a preliminary investigation by the troops.
