Unkwown to many, Senator Godwin Ifeanyi Araraume, KSJI, is a man after God's heart. Ararume is a man whose sole aim is serving God in truth and in spirit with his substances knowing that the day of reckoning for all mortals shall come. He believes that worshiping God in true sense of it does not go without helping people around, and this has become his way of life without seeking for any public acclamation or commendation.
The life style of this Catholic Knight revolves around the things of God as his days start and end with prayers to God with his aides. He seeks the face of God in his endeavors.
Like the biblical David, Senator Araraume had this sincere desire to build a house for God, like the biblical King Solomon, he is building a state of the art place of worship in his country home which also has a house for the priest, solely funded by him. He believes that there is nothing too big to do for God and no church too magnificent for His worship. The project is so close to his heart that he visits the building at least two times a day (first thing in the morning and in the evening) whenever he is in town.
The two term Senator who represented Okigwe Zone between 1999 and 2007 has been acknowledged as a Church builder having contributed to several church projects across the country.
In realisation of the need for youth empowerment through Information Communication Technology, ICT, he has also erected an ICT Centre for the youths of his community in the church premises. He believes that while contributing to the spiritual pursuit of his people, their need for skill acquisition through ICT should not be ignored as well.
Truely, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume is a man after God's heart. Thank God he is an Imolite.
