they are good place to buy things .but you need to see what you are buying..make sure the seller gives u plate number reciept and proof of ownership ..cross check the chasis number and also verify from road safty site if the plate number tallies with the car.when all this is in place you are good to go. I hve bought many cars online..olx and jiji..nothing to worry about.

Scammers are people like you and me! There are still greedy people who run for unrealistically cheap things, in the end they are deceived. The result : Can you say something else about JIJI ?

These sites are as safe as checking out the car thoroughly before negotiations and payment.
..they may be as unsafe as payments before seeing what you're buying!

Pls, be careful, so u don't buy stolen vehicle because some sellers are very funny o. May God help u. Shine ur face

Whether u check car before u pay or drive before you check, always use ur instinct. FLEE from prices that are too good to be true. Like say u see Tin Can 2009 Corolla for 600k

I sold a car on jiji, the buyer paid money without seeing the car..he's grooving his car today, almost a year later.
The sites are safe, just inspect the car, check the documents and then pay. You'll be fine

Either you buy cars directly from owner, Road side sellers, a mechanic, showrooms or online adverts. If you are careful and wise, you are safe. If you are too forward, greedy and impatient. You will be a victim.

My current car was from OLX. We negotiated for a very long time before we both agreed, all the while i was monitoring him closely and physically cos i recognised the car immediately the day i saw it on the road. I knew he wasn't in a hurry to sell.

Went there with a mechanic to check when i wanted to finalise the deal after test driving.
It's almost a year now. No issue.
