I think this is a nonsensical statement of all time

If Jesus was to be my father does it make sense to give him my own life while he already has his own?

Which one will I be using to serve him?

This one as wèll

Jesus is alive

But Jesus ascended to heaven, I would love some explanation about it too, kind of complicated.

Please if you know you are going to be equivocal, don't explain

Jesus was God in the flesh and both of them are one.

Since God is alive, so is Jesus.

Ascending into heaven does not mean he died before going to heaven. He died here on earth and rose up again here on earth. He is however now spiritually in heaven. God is a LIVING spirit and if God is alive then common sense should tell you that since God and Jesus are one, he is also alive.

Give him your life >>>>>>> submit / surrender to him. Submit to his authority, his will and his purpose.

Your earthly life is yours but CONTROL of this life to ensure Gods will and purposes to be actualised in your life while you align with his essence/spirit in righteousness is where surrendering / submitting to him comes in.

Compare the two scriptures below

Romans 8:14
"For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God"

Proverbs 14:12
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

One has submitted his life and his life is now being led by God

The other has not submitted and is still leading himself .

This Op is asking questions just like Nicodemus.

Jesus said that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.

Read John 3:3-15(Message version)

Yes and scripture confirms it. I will post a reply I gave to a similar question below. Do read it.

1. Jesus has two natures — He is God and man.

2. Each nature is full and complete — He is fully God and fully man.

3. Each nature remains distinct.

4. Christ is only one Person.

5. Things that are true of only one nature are nonetheless true of the Person of Christ.

The book of Titus follows immediately after the book of Timothy. Let's read Titus 2:13 shall we?

“looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus

Also I believe the book of john came way before the book of Timothy which you claim the divinity of Jesus was falsely promulgated so let's read john 20:28 shall we?

And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Likewise, the book of Hebrews comes before the book of Timothy and it gives us God the Father’s direct testimony about Christ:

Hebrews 1:8

“But of the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever

Also the book of Isaiah was written in the time of monotheism yet had this to say of Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

OK. So you aren't a Muslim.

No wonder you are confused at simple spirtual terms.

To help you out, I will use physical scientific question.

Is an Electron a Wave or a Particle?

Mind you a wave has characteristics that are completely different from characteristics of particles.

Example:
1. Particles CANNOT exhibit the properties of Interference.
2. All particles have Mass, waves do not.

Who is god?
Jesus

Is Jesus the son of Mary?
Yes

Who created Mary?
God.

Who is God?
Jesus

The life of the child is from the father. Mary was a sorrugate. Jesus was not of earthly CONCEPTION.

Jesus is the begotten son.
Yes

Who is his father?
God.

Who is God?
Jesus.

BEGOTTEN means TO COME FROM or better put, TO DERIVE FROM. Jesus in the flesh as God was God manifested in the flesh. His father (origin) made himself to dwell in flesh as Jesus.

Jesus is a servant of God?
Yes

Who is God?
Jesus.

Jesus wasn't a servant.

Jesus died on the cross?
Yes

Who resurrected him?
God.

Who is God?
Jesus

Gods fleshly manifestation died on the cross while his origin which was still there simply took back it's original position and resurrection occurred.

Jesus is a messenger?
Yes

Who sent him?
God.

Who is God?
Jesus.

He was a messenger based on message he brought and not as a person.

Did Jesus worship while on earth? Yes

Whom did he worship?
God.

Who is God?
Jesus.

As a fleshly extension of God and also a full representation of man, he had to show man how to worship, praise, pray to God whom he actually also was.

Did God have a beginning?
No....

Then who was born on 25 DEC?Jesus.
Who is God?
Jesus.

The name and person Jesus was born but his essence (spirit) has always existed. He was the word of God which was made flesh. He existed before the beginning but simply took on flesh for a time and for a purpose

Where's God?
In heaven

How many are there in heaven?
Only one God.

Where's Jesus?

He is sitted on the right hand of his father.

Who is God?

You cannot serve God, no man can serve God. Only the Son can serve God, God Jesus is perfect, he alone fulfilled all the law of God. Therefore you must died and let him live through you. You are to live but not with your life. You are to live with his life, serve God with his life and experience the Christian life with his life. No man is qualified to live the Christian life, only Christ can, that is why we must die so that Christ can live the Christian life through us.
