Police operatives in Rivers state have apprehended a notorious drug trafficker and a kidnap suspect who abducted and threatened to rape two young girls in Nkpolu area in Port-Harcourt, the state capital. The suspect was arrested and is currently in custody, while his female victims were rescued by the police officers.

Also, a fruitful raid was carried out in the same Nkpolu area where a cultist/armed robber suspect was arrested along with his three cousins. A locally made pistol was recovered from his house which he allegedly confessed to ownership.
