Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have revealed an update to the present rules for the Champions League and Europa League which will enable clubs to have a team of 23 players in the final and make a fourth substitute should additional time follow. The European football governing body has reported yet more changes to UCL & UEL from next season, with 12 substitutes rather than the seven permitted in the finals of each competition.
