A lot of the time, there is a high chance that you as many other people out there don’t give much thought to your bladder: when you need to pee, you just, go pee.

But when something in your urinary system goes wrong, there is hardly any way you can mistake the symptoms and signs as they can range from wanting to pee frequently to bloody urine.

Before getting to the cause of the problem, it’s important to know what’s considered normal in terms of urinary frequency. While there’s no set number — after all, some guys just pee more often than others, in general an adult male will urinate between six to eight times per day, and maybe once during the night.

However, it’s not only peeing a lot that can signal something is wrong with your bladder. Here are some of the most common signs that you have a bladder problem and how you can treat it.

Having Blood In Your Urine
Bloody urine can be a symptom of issues such as kidney stones. The jagged surfaces of the stones can scrape along the lining of your urinary tract, causing inflammation and micro-tears.

Blood can also be present in your urine as a result of inflammation in the bladder, such as a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are easily treatable with antibiotics, which is why you should definitely tell your doctor about it as soon as you can spot blood in your urine.

Dark-coloured Urine
If your urine stream is looking a bit darker than usual, then there is a high possibility that you maybe dehydrated. In that case, you should increase your water intake considerably and see if that makes a difference.

Dehydration can also increase your risk of kidney stones, as such, you should keep guzzling water to dissolve the stones.

You Constantly Have To Go To The Bathroom
If you generally have a pretty small bladder, and your friends constantly make fun of you for always having to go to the bathroom to take a piss while out at the movies or a concert, then it may be a cause for concern.

If you however feel the urge to urinate more often than usual, then you likely have an overactive bladder, a condition that strikes women more frequently but can happen in men. In men, it could be a sign of an enlarged prostate, particularly if you’re a man over the age of 60.

Pain When Urinating Or Cloudy Urine
On its own, cloudy urine doesn’t usually signify anything bad, but when accompanied with other issues, it could be potentially serious. If it’s cloudy and it also smells pungent, like ammonia, you might be dehydrated.

If your urine is cloudy and it also hurts when you pee, you likely have an infection somewhere in the urinary system, either in your bladder or along your urethra. The best thing to do is to see a doctor immediately to ensure the infection doesn’t progress further.

I ONCE HAD SYMPTOMS LIKE THIS, MINE WAS A UTI(UNITARY TRACT INFECTION) CALLED ''CYSTITIS''. IT'S A MEDICAL CONDITION OF HAVING A CYST GROW NEAR THE BLADDER, THE PAINS WERE UNBEARABLE. IT'S TREATABLE, ALL YOU NEED IS:
1. GET TO A LAB
2. DO A SCAN
3. DO A URINARY CULTURE
4. BUY SOME PRESCRIBED DRUGS
5. TAKE SOME INJECTIONS FOR FIVE DAYS AND THAT'S ALL.
