What do you think lol. grin

You see what coffee does to me?
It makes me nimble. I sit, full of energy,
giddy with excitement, without cause.
It must be those molecules. Fusing, binding,
clinging to my pleasure receptors, creating
momentary flashes of pleasure. A slow
rise of sweet tingly sensation that creeps up my spine.
Slowly, it moves, until my clenched jaws
ease into a big-wide smile and my eyes squint
effortlessly, bidding instructions from my
caffeine-laden brain.

Why are you smiling? My colleague asks. Did you
just win a million naira? I catch myself, suppressing
a sensation I cannot control. Ah, how I wish they knew.
The joy of being flooded by endorphins triggered by a sip
or 2 of this sweet, sweet mineral from Harar.
