Yea I mean mi 5x. The global version is called mi A1 and the one for Chinese market is mi 5x. Both devices are the same, just that one is Skinned and the other one is not.

Doesn't this make them different devices? Would want to think same device means same hardware and software, no? You are getting this global version mixed up, for every Xiaomi phones you have global and Chinese version all based on MIUI where in Google Play services are preinstalled from the factory for the global version. The Chinese version lacks the Google Play services but the seller/buyer can flash the global rom as found in the global version.
