GUNMEN KILL FIVE, INJURE THREE IN PLATEAU COMMUNITY
Gunmen have reportedly killed five persons and injured three others at Inding village, a community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of northern Plateau State.
It was gathered that the incident took place late Sunday night and the injured have reportedly been taken to the hospital for treatment in Barkinladi, headquarters of the council.

KOGI KILLINGS: OUR CHILDREN, WOMEN, ELDERS WERE BUTCHERED LIKE RAMS – SURVIVOR
It is close to one month since the people of Oganenigwu, Agbenema and Ojuwo- Ajomayegbi in Kogi East fled their communities following attacks by suspected herdsmen which left no fewer than 50 dead.

MAN DIES IN CAB AFTER WITHDRAWING N100,200 FROM BANK IN LAGOS
There was confusion in the Ojota area of Lagos State after a middle-aged man, identified only as Muyibi, collapsed and died in a commercial cab.
PUNCH reports that the victim boarded the cab after withdrawing money from a United Bank for Africa branch in the Ogudu area.

EDO PASTOR MURDER: POLICE ARREST ONE, DISMISS HERDSMEN INVOLVEMENT
The Edo State Police Command has arrested one suspect in connection with the killing of a pastor, the late Pius Eromosele, in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Johnson Kokumo, confirmed the arrest on Sunday.

ITALIAN ARRESTED IN LAGOS FOR KILLING NIGERIAN WIFE, DAUGHTER
A Nigerian artiste, Zainab Ali-Nielsen, popularly known as Alizee, and her four-year-old daughter, Petra, have reportedly been murdered by her Italian husband, Peter Nielsen.
They were allegedly murdered in the family’s residence at Ocean Parade, Banana Island in the early hours of Thursday.
