Quite unfortunate,the lady that narrated how she was robbed at EKo bridge yesterday was a former colleague, Her story gave me the courage to also share my experience.

Its a norm that people get robbed on daily basis on that iweka/obodoukwu road, but yesterday I became a victim.

Around 7:30pm yesterday, on our way back from owerri we met a minor gridlock on that iweka axis. so we decided to buy a few refreshments.(mistake 1)

as I was about winding up, with the speed of light, a hand quickly snatched my phone through the window.
my other colleagues and myself jumped down from the car, in preparation to give this idiot a hot chase. Nairalanders the guy did not run, he was bouncing as if he bought me a phone.

So we caught up with him, I collected my phone back and we started beating him, naim the guy begin echo one cult their slang. Brethren see as people dey fall out from all angles they shout, wey dem, wey dem, wey dem, oboy na so we tear race run enter motor zoom off lol.

please you guys should do something about this unruly elements dispossessing people of their hard earned belongings without fear.

In Nigeria no were is safe. Nigeria lifestyle doesn't guarantee a long life.

I was robbed of my power bank. What happened was a lady entered the taxi which was small. Started complaining that it couldn't enter her. As I was adjusting my power bank which was in my pocket fell off without noticing. As I came down and paid the driver , felt my pocket couldn't find it. By then taxi had zoomed off.

Ladies are also pickpockets too. Learn from my experience.
