The people of Esuk Ekpo Eyo Community, Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River,broke into jubilation following restoration of electric power supply to the community during the weekend after decades of blackout suffered by residents of the community.
The community has suffered poor power supply for over a decade,despite its being located about 10km away from the Calabar metropolis where the seat of government is.
With the help of the law maker representing Akpabuyo,Bakassi /Calabar South federal constituency at the National Assembly, Essien Ayi,the community now has a 300KVA substation, which the experts at the project site claimed is expected to power over 100 homes.

If it is PDP at the federal this project will just be a paper's project,

since 1999,this has been the worst era in cross river,calaber south doesnt boast of 4hours steady light,robbery and cultism is on d very high side,on tuesday ther was a rat race around 7:30 because i hear skylow and scopion cults had a fight..the state has lost it glory.

This type of news will interest me when it will read, after many years of uninterrupted power supply, Nigeria is about to increase it power capacity.

At least to be like other African countries.
